In a poster competition organised by Luzerner Hochschule der Künste I designed a poster for the year 2022. Music has no end and is constantly in motion. I worked strongly from the process and tried to make the concept of music accessible to all musical genres, which was quite a challenge. Unfortunately it wasn't selected.

Every year I design the Christmas card for my parents, because of that experiment I tried out something new and it really appealed to me. Since I was doing an internship at Kontraststark AG in Zug, I got involved with building illustrations of the Bossard Arena, the Roche building, the Suurstoffi, the Baar brewery and the Papieri Cham. It was a test to see if this style could stand up to different buildings.

CHRISTMAS CARD | 2022
MORE
During an internship at Kontraststark AG, I designed the Christmas card for the PCB manufacturer Delsys. Their wish was to pick up the company colours turquoise, blue and green again. Since I was otherwise free, I dipped into a layered look and picked up the circuit board again. There is no mistaking that the card is not typically Christmassy, they wanted it to echo my Master's degree poster, hence this decision.

FROM READERS TO READERS | 2021
MORE
We all read all the time, every day, consciously or unconsciously. The book "From readers to readers" is aimed at those who are interested in reading. My 22 classmates and I dealt with the topic of reading by paying a three-day visit to the Andreas Züst Library in Appenzell. Andreas Züst was a fanatical book collector. After his death, the "Andreas Züst Library" was built in his memory, housing 12,000 books in a small space. Each student embarked on his or her own personal collecting journey. This book contains 230 pictures, 230 book cover illustrations, 23 conversations about reading and joins them together to form a slimmed-down version of the library.

Since the book contains a lot of content, it was clear to me to design an informative book that is easy to flip through. With the narrow, high format, I set myself a rule at the beginning, according to which the typography and images had to follow. I was inspired by the format of the leporellos that you can take with you to cultural venues. They are designed to be held in one hand without difficulty and to deliver information quickly and clearly.

After the Vorkurs, I spent a lot of time challenging myself photographically. This included photographing in the dark. In this portrait series we see the band members of Fors in different spotlights. The photos in black and white were taken during a stay in Geneva. As I am also part of a medieval group, I regularly photograph staged portraits.

NEW YEARS CARD | 2022
MORE
I was allowed to design the New Year's card from Kontraststark AG myself as an intern. It was important to my boss at the time, Roman, that his aesthetics were reflected in the card. An embossed print was planned, but unfortunately the card was not realised due to time constraints.

EINSTEIGEN INS HOBBY MITTELALTER | 2023
MORE
I have been actively pursuing the hobby Living History since 2019. It is a very broad and complicated field, for which I would have loved to have a tool. As part of my final project at the Fachklasse Grafik Luzern, I decided to design a guide for the Living History hobby in the Middle Ages. The booklet is particularly aimed at teenagers and young adults. I decided to go against the aesthetics of the Middle Ages and design a young, fresh booklet.

PANORAMA HELI

My first client ever was a new helicopter pilot. He wanted a business card that integrated the elements of mountains and the helicopter's rotosurface. In terms of colour, I went in a completely different direction from what you actually know from mountains. The red should symbolise a setting sun, as many people who book a helicopter flight fly at dusk.

SLOWLY, THE FOREST DIES | 2021
MORE
In a Clearchannel poster competition on the theme of respect, I decided to go a little further: respect for nature and plants, in this case respect for forests. The typo trees, which visually look like growing trees with the inscription LANGSAM STIRBT DER WALD (Slowly, the forest dies), are in a strong contrast to the written content.
